HandlPay 2.0: Development & Launch Update

HandlPay 2.0 is approaching. We are much closer to making our vision a reality: if you can DM someone, you can send stablecoins to that username.

Over the past months, we've rebuilt the platform, established new strategic partnerships, and completely redesigned the user experience to make stablecoin payments simpler and more intuitive, especially for people new to crypto.

With HandlPay 2.0, we want everyone in the family to feel comfortable using the product. Will your grandmother be finally able to send a crypto payment? We'll let you be the judge of how well we've achieved that!

HandlPay 2.0 combines the global reach of social media identities with the ability to send stablecoins across multiple blockchains, while leveraging Canton to keep financial activity private.

The idea is simple: send money to anyone, anywhere, using the usernames and phone numbers people already use to communicate every day.

An update on our launch timeline

We originally targeted the end of Q3 for the HandlPay 2.0 release. We've missed that target, and we know many of you have been waiting patiently.

We've rescheduled our public launch to mid-December, with selected users getting early access a few weeks beforehand. We will roll out our additional features gradually.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing previews of what we've been working on.
