Welcome to the official HandlPay newsletter, delivered to you every last Tuesday of the month.

June has been a strong month of execution. We’ve seen significant growth in our platform’s payment volume, rolled out key integrations on Canton Network, listed HANDL on multiple Canton DEXs, attended major ecosystem events, strengthened the team, and continued laying the groundwork for HandlPay 2.0.

Here’s what we publicly announced this June:

Major Milestones & Growth

• We shared lifetime traction data: processed $50 million in total payment volume, with 4x growth month-over-month.
• Average monthly volume reached $8 million, with 300,000+ users onboarded.
• The first two phases of our roadmap are now complete. We have successfully attached a payment layer to social identities, turning usernames into private, multi-chain payment addresses.
• Focus is now shifting from battle-testing the technology to scaling for non-crypto natives: simpler flows, better UX, faster onboarding, and making stablecoin payments feel as effortless as using a card.

New Integrations & Features

• cETH is now live on HandlPay. Wrapped ETH (backed 1:1 and issued natively on Canton Network by onRails) can be sent privately to your social handle. This is especially useful for social commerce sellers and freelancers who want to receive stablecoins and easily convert to ETH exposure while staying on private rails.
• Our USDC Bridge is now available directly in-app. You can bridge USDC between Base, Polygon, and Canton Network (and back). The bridge already supports HANDL and USDC, with more tokens coming soon. This is a big step toward smoother access to “Consumer Canton.”
• HANDL <> CC liquidity pools went live on Tradecraft and on OneSwap, allowing trading and liquidity provision with yield on Canton. You can trade and earn fees from the pools, and swap directly inside the HandlPay app using the OneSwap SDK.

$HANDL Holding Rewards Are Live

We launched $HANDL Holding Rewards on June 26. You can now earn points by holding $HANDL in any Canton wallet. Unlike typical staking, you earn reward points for your daily holdings, and you get bonus streaks of up to 60% by holding the same amount or more over consecutive days.

Events & Ecosystem Building

• Members of the HandlPay team attended key Canton Network events, including Proof of Talk in Paris and the Point Zero Forum in Zurich. It was exciting to see how much collaboration potential there is within the ecosystem. We are particularly thrilled to explore how institutional-grade infrastructure (privacy, compliance, and composability) can power new retail use cases. “Consumer Canton” continues to take shape behind the scenes, and we’re excited about the partnerships forming.

Team & Community Updates

• We’ve hired a new Community Manager and Frontend Engineer to improve communication and user experience as we scale.

Vision & What’s Ahead

• We remain focused on making payments via social handles the standard for informal and social commerce.
• Over the coming weeks we will unveil HandlPay 2.0,  a refined product built around simplicity, privacy (default routing to Canton Network), a better app experience with improved UX/UI, and better tools for user retention and growth.
• The goal remains clear: payments should feel as natural as sending a DM, with no wallet addresses, no chain selection, and strong privacy by default.
